Money in my heart, not my the hand

Consumed by the earth, imprisoned like a guilty man

Driven not a driver, pulled around and tugged

Unable to dive, but falling several feet

Left alone and forgotten, never to be loved

Dropped into water, one full of sharks

black not blue, a faded dark

A shark amongst others, a world without care

Eaten and divided, amongst those confided

Each day that passes, goodness has faded

Money in my heart, not in my hand

Hoarded with riches and gold

I have died a guilty man

Neither brave nor bold
