Within ourselves, a storm exists
Through times of suffering
It is but, a test
A test of the soul
It’s face in the way of a storm
Wrapped among a whirlwind
Coming out of the storm full of emotion
Or confining itself within the body’s wall
Cold, a stone
Neither cracked nor fractured
Face the storm
Say, “Nothing may penetrate this soul”
It is neither good nor evil
Within this world, a storm exists in all
It is what we say when we look at that storm
That defines our true nature.
