Sitting beside you
As the water shatters the rocks
Hydrated, the water tastes pure
A drink every time I glance at you
How better a taste when there isn’t enough
Only enough for a moment to pass
As water makes the body, you cleanse me
Tear drops like fallen words
Unspeakable but spoken
As when I first saw you
You understood me, by an approach
How these shattered rocks are unable to swim
As I wish to swim by
As one lays, basking in the sun or rain
Enjoying the beautiful flow
Nothing more intriguing, more aggressive
To find you standing beside me
A clean and good smelling woman
Finer than a drop of mercury
